Stephanie Reid is a passionate advocate for families, bringing together professional expertise and lived experience to support parents through life’s challenges. As a mother of six and a foster parent, she understands firsthand the complexities of parenting and the importance of strong, compassionate support systems. Stephanie is dedicated to helping families feel heard, empowered, and connected to the resources they need to thrive.
Stephanie has a diverse background rooted in service and advocacy. She holds a
Bachelor’s degree in Social Science and is nearing completion of a Master of
Education. She has worked as a victim advocate for assault survivors, providing crisis
intervention and compassionate support during some of life’s most difficult moments.
She has also served as a mentor for foster parents and kinship caregivers, offering
guidance grounded in real-world experience.
In addition, Stephanie brings over a decade of experience in communication, equipping
her with the skills to effectively connect with families, navigate complex systems, and
advocate for meaningful support.
Stephanie believes that every family deserves to be heard, respected, and supported
without judgment. Her approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and empowerment.
She meets parents where they are, recognizing their strengths while helping them
overcome challenges.
By combining practical guidance with emotional support, Stephanie works to ensure
families feel confident, capable, and equipped to make informed decisions for
themselves and their children. She will tell you it is her honor and privilege to support
families during trying times.
Parents working with Stephanie can expect a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where their voices truly matter. She provides personalized support tailored to each family’s unique situation, helping them navigate challenges, access resources, and build confidence in their parenting journey.
Stephanie has 10 chickens. Her favorite animal is the orca whale, and she goes whale watching whenever she gets the chance. She is known to watch the same movie over and over again.
Leading workshops and programs designed to empower and support parents and caregivers. “Surviving Parental Burnout” offers strategies to restore energy and resilience, “Mid-Summer Survival” provides practical tools for navigating seasonal challenges, and “Parents Empowering Parents” is a workshop for parents, by parents, focused on building connection, confidence, and Empowerment. In addition, I facilitate parental support groups, providing a safe, strength-based space for parents to share experiences, gain guidance, and build community.
